Coffee is a noble raw material, delicate and sensitive to contamination. For this reason HiWay designs specific systems for the handling of coffee in all phases of the production process: from receiving to storage, from roasting to packaging.
We use mechanical chain conveyors built in AISI 304 stainless steel with certification for food contact, to ensure transport without contamination, vibrations or breakage of the bean.

HiWay system for the automatic handling of coffee
This system for the transport of coffee is made with three lines of mechanical conveyors in AISI 304 stainless steel, certified for contact with food. La tecnologia impiegata garantisce affidabilità, igiene e massima sicurezza lungo tutto il processo di movimentazione.
The UNI 76 line, designed to cover medium-long routes, is equipped with vertical drive units that transmit motion to the chain, ensuring constant and efficient transport of the material.

The first circuit is fed
through a loading hopper and
allows selective discharge into several silos,
thanks to shutters with pneumatic
actuation.
The second line adopts
the same loading and
discharge system; near the return
it also integrates a safety free discharge,
designed to prevent possible accidental
stoppages of the system.
The third line, the most extensive, loads
directly from the silo and allows
selective discharge in two points very
distant from each other, using rotary
discharges with pneumatic control.
