Systems for the safe and efficient transport of fine powders and bulk industrial materials
Industrial powders are highly complex materials: they can be volatile, abrasive, cohesive or potentially explosive.
For this reason HIWAY designs custom systems for the mechanical handling of fine powders, with solutions that guarantee total containment, operator safety and compatibility with ATEX environments.

Application case
HiWay system for the automatic handling of calcium carbonate
The system is equipped with five massagers for emptying big bags into the silos, which ensure a constant and regular flow of the material.
The product is extracted through an extraction screw, which feeds a TVE 114 aero-mechanical conveyor configured in a horizontal and vertical arrangement. This conveyor in turn discharges into a CMC 168 mechanical conveyor with motorised bend, designed to distribute the material in multiple points, according to the specific process requirements.
- Ø Tube: 114 and 168 mm
- Motorisation: from 3 to 5.5 kW
- Capacity: 12 m³/h
- Material density: 0.7 to 1.4 Kg/dm³
