Safe and continuous transport of glass fibre
Glass fibre, in the form of granules, powders or production scraps, is an abrasive material that can compromise the durability of transport systems if not handled correctly.
For this reason HIWAY designs reinforced mechanical conveyors, built with wear-resistant materials and technical components resistant to abrasion.
Each system is designed to ensure controlled, safe and uninterrupted transport, even under demanding production conditions.

Application case
HiWay system for the automatic handling of glass fibre
The system is composed of four big-bag emptying stations with screw-extraction system, designed to feed a pair of TVE 76 aero-mechanical conveyors in stainless steel, internally lined with wear-resistant material to ensure greater durability and resistance.
The transport of the material takes place up to a discharge point equipped with a diverter valve, which allows the flow to be directed alternately in two different directions depending on operational needs.
- Ø Tube: 76 mm
- Motorisation: 1.5 kW
- Capacity: 5 m³/h
- Material density: 0.4 Kg/dm³
Big-bag emptying stations with screw extraction
Screws are placed under
already existing stations
Aero-mechanical conveyor in “L” shape (TVE 76)
in stainless steel with wear-resistant lining.
An aero-mechanical conveyor TVE765
receives the material arriving from
the big bags and brings it into another
conveyor that will discharge through a diverter valve.
